Herbert Garland Obituary

We bid farewell to Herbert Garland of Fairfax, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 24, 2024 at the age of 95. Herbert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie and Calvin (Cal). He is survived by: his children, Gary, Bruce, Joyce, Wayne and Carl; his grandchildren, David, Blair, Bob, Jessie, Jon, Christen, Kat and Hope; his great grandchildren, Everett, Emma, Collins and Isla; his daughters-in-law, Nancy and Jenese; and his friends, Julie and Carlos. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, in-laws.

Amazingly, with God's grace and Herb's fighting spirit, he survived COVID in May 2020 with in-home care.
