He is survived by: his wife Mỹ Trương Trịnh; his daughter Nguyệt Ánh; his son-in-law Phong Mai; his grandchildren, Madeleine Uyễn Thanh and Ryan Văn; his daughter Anh Thư; and also, Wyn Nguyễn, Ethan Khang and Emma Phương-Anh.
