He is survived by: his wife Theida Carter Darnell; his sons, Garnet Fount Darnell Jr. (Brenda Griggs) and Timothy Cleve Darnell (Lynn); his grandchildren, Melissa Martin (Chad) of Pembroke, Chad Darnell, Krystal Darnell of Fairfax, Teri Darnell of Roanoke and Shasta Darnell (James) of Bear Springs; and his great grandchildren, Izzak, Emma Perez of Texas, Branson, Gatlin Martin of Pembroke, J. P. and Oaklynn Jackson of Bear Springs.
