In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Fassil Gebre had on those he encountered along his journey. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tarik Assaye Mitiké; his father Betre-Yarek Gebre-Kiros; his brother Tsehay (Betre-Yarek Gebre-Kiros); his children, Temnet, Hareya, Leul and Sefanit Fassil; his son-in-law Yonas; and his grandchildren, Mela, Kassa and Yared Nebiyeloul. He was also cherished by met the love of his life and his best friend.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home (9902 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Park (9900 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032).
