It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Desmond Francis Browne Sr. of Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Jane Browne (Finnerty); his children, Erin (John), Desmond Jr. (Stephanie), Jennifer, Catherine (Jonathan) and Christopher; and his siblings, Sheila Varady (Joseph) and Thomas E. Browne Sr. (Patricia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
