She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Schweinhaut (Schweinhaut) and Thomas F. Schweinhaut. She is survived by: her sister Anne Marie Szpiech (Nancy); her children, Marilyn Heigl (Jim), Gary Watkins and David Watkins (Caroline); her grandchildren, Christin McGowan (Kevin), Nathaniel Heigl (Stacy), Charlie Watkins (Jordi) and Kelly Watkins; and her great grandchildren, Savanna Clemmons and Connor McGowan. She is also survived by family she leaves nine nieces and nephews as well as many devoted friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home (9902 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032). A reception will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
