She was predeceased by: her son Jeffrey Douglas Younce. She is survived by: her husband Geary Ralph Younce; her siblings, Janet Cummings and Clifford Cummings; and her children, Don (Tona Hangen), Quinn (Maren Mecham), Edward (Kari Hickman) and David (Michelle Younce). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and two great grandsons.
Carol's favorite medium was quiltmaking, and she sewed hundreds of quilts and wall hangings of all sizes, from tiny quilts donated to local NICUs for preemie babies to exquisite bed quilts made for her children and grandchildren's graduations, birthdays, and weddings.
