She is survived by: her grandson Dylan Overbey; her husband Melvin Casey Mikosinski; her sister Sue Doughty (John); her daughters, Holly, Susan and Deborah; her grandchildren, Tyler Kennedy, Angelee, Logan Overbey, Zachary and Savannah Seidel; her niece Jennifer Carlson; and her nephew Kevin Doughty.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Fairfax County in her honor.
