It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Carol Messegee of Fairfax Station, Virginia, born in Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Ness; and her siblings-in-law, Gracie Ness, Bob Hughes and Bob Messegee. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Ness (Long); her husband James Allen Messegee of Fairfax Station, VA; her sons, Todd Messegee (Lisa) of Churchville, Timothy Messegee (Lisa) and Thomas Messegee (Amy); her grandchildren, Evangeline Messegee, Heather Messegee, Lauren Schmidt, Bryan Messegee, Zachary Messegee and Blake Messegee; her great grandchildren, Logan, Madeline Schmidt, Avery and Riley Messegee; and her siblings, Sally Gustafson (Doug), Sue Hughes and Thomas Ness. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
