He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Govan Chalmers Jr. and Lillian Mae Reisert. He is survived by: his siblings, Frederick E. Chalmers (Irene), Lillian C. Schneider (Ernest) and Jane C. Hickey (Maurice); and his close friend Elsie Hall Bowen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
