Thornton (Wendy) of Richmond, Emory P. S. Thornton (Shannon) of Moyock, NC, Hillary Colonna, Jr. (Patricia) of Pocomoke, MD and Eva M. Truitt of Exmore; his stepchildren, Jeanne Moore (Freddie) of Pungoteague, Albert Kellam Doughty, Jr., Hélène of Eastville, VA and Jennifer Doughty Baylis (Timothy) of Eastville; and his brothers, John Thornton (Mary Lou) of Melfa, VA, Norman F. Thornton (Diane) of Wachapreague, Arthur R. Thornton (Kathy) of Onley, VA, Kenneth Thornton (Linda) of Wachapreague and Richard A. Thornton of Seaford, DE. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
