Kelley of Cheriton, VA; his children, Charles Williams (Faye) of Virginia Beach, VA, Richard Williams (Vera) of Nassawadox, VA, John Williams, Sr. (Crystella) of Melfa, VA, Angelo Holmes (Annette) of Exmore, VA, David Holmes of Birdsnest, VA, Larry Holmes of Bland, VA, Dorothy Smith (Laura "Ann" Chandler) of Painter, VA, Joyce Williams (Sammie) of Painter, VA, Cynthia Holmes (Harry) of Pungoteague, VA and Rose (Alexander Williams); his siblings-in-law, Louise, Mae Floyd, Ruby Smith, Helen Blake of Machipongo, VA, Violet Fitchett of Birdsnest, VA, Patricia Jones (James) of Cheriton, VA, Silvia Custis-Henry (Jason) of Allentown, PA, Patricia E. Fitchett of Fairview, VA, Thomas Morris, Jr. and Hillary Graves of Newport News, VA; and also, Mandy Giddens, Elsie Thomas, Corine Sturgis, Maggie Ann Harmon and Inez Nock. He is also survived by daughter and son; forty-one grandchildren; seventy-eight great- grandchildren; twelve great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Allen Memorial A. M. E. Church (7044 Bayside Rd, Franktown, VA 23354).
