He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Dhority and Estelle Dhority; his wife Ivadene; and his siblings, Thomas, Louis, Ollie Jr., Lucy, Jean, Jewel, Lois, Molly and Donnie Mae.
He is survived by: his children, Tamela Thornes (Dennis) of Cape Charles and Jerimy Curtis (Sara) of Steinbach, Germany; and his siblings, Anna, Bonnie, Pat and Kirt (Shirley). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
