It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Daughtrey (Exmore, Virginia), born in Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Emily Birdsong Daughtrey; and his parents, John Oscar Holloman Daughtrey and Grace Pope Daughtrey. He is survived by: his child John Allen Daughtrey, Jr.; his wife Kate Woodburn of Nassawadox; his grandchildren, Amanda, Dyllan, Jay, Christopher, Michael, Matthew and Justin; and also Mary Grace Daughtrey Woodburn (Jon) of Blairs, VA. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
