He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Merritt Jones; his children, Isaac David Jones (Jessica) and Debbie Lynn Simes; his sister-in-law Glenda Jones; his grandchildren, John Simes, Jacob Jones and Wren Jones; and his great grandchild Patience Simes.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home (3117 Main St, Exmore, VA 23350). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at the Belle Haven Cemetery.
