Though Ida may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ida touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis Allen Bailey; her parents, Thomas Clayton Deese Sr. and Louella McClellan Deese; and her daughters, Sherry Bailey (Keith Cummings) and Teresa Bailey Gersick.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Bailey Stetar; and her sister Norma Falkner. She is also survived by five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Doughty Funeral Home (3117 Main St, Exmore, VA 23350).
