She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Talmadge Scott and Nina Blanche Harrison Scott; her former husband Robert Vernon Tittermary; her sisters, Gloria Davis and Norma Harris; and her grandson Robert James Tittermary.
She is survived by: her husband Perry Odell Whitley, Jr.; her sons, Glen Scott Tittermary (Vicky) of Richmond, VA, Kerry Tittermary (Kimberley Cordle) of Willis Wharf, VA, Brian Tittermary of Belle Haven, VA and Greg Whitley (Erica) of Crisfield, MD; and her sisters, Sylvia Griggs of Windsor, VA, Rosalie Lewis of Cashville and Mary Paul Harmon (Butch) of Melfa, VA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
