She was predeceased by: her spouse William Thomas Carpenter, Jr.; her parents, George Doughty and Ann Parsons Doughty; and her brother George Parsons Doughty. She is survived by: her children, Pierce Scanlan of Exmore, Stella Ann Scanlan of Exmore and Lance Scanlan of Exmore; her brother Kim Doughty of Texas; and also, Honey and Lilly.
