Theathel Gibbons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theathel Gibbons of Ewing, Virginia, born in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee, who passed away on December 8, 2020 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Theathel Gibbons to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esco White and Liza White (Lizzy); her husband L. B. Gibbons; her siblings, Elena Duncan (Bryant), Vinnie Dyke (Jack), Juanita Duncan (Jay), Willie Brantley (Roy), Evon Wheland (Harvey), Willard White (Sharron) and Delbert White (Reva Mae); and her brother-in-law Martin Gibbons.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Massengill (Roger) of Harrogate; her sister Jean Gibbons of Ewing, VA.; her grandsons, Derek Massengill (Alisha) of Harrogate, TN and Matthew Massengill (Gerena) of Morristown, TN; and her great grandchildren, Deklin, Cayden, Abby Massengill and Raegan Parrott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, visitation and services will be private with protective mask and social distancing strongly encouraged. The family asked that face mask be worn at all times and social distancing be practiced as much as possible.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Green Hills Funeral Home, P.O. Box 872, Middlesboro, KY to help with funeral expenses.
