He is survived by: his wife Carrie Payne; his daughter Kristy King (Michael) of Ewing, VA; his grandchildren, Casey and Steven; his siblings, Larry Maggard of Rose Hill, VA and Patsy P. Sowders (Carl Ray) of Ewing, VA; his sisters-in-law, Mary Campbell (Clayton) of Middlesboro, KY and Sarah Beth Barton (Steve) of Middlesboro, KY; and his close friends, Bill Webb, Juianna Webb, Gary Bray, Kathy Bray, Sue Taylor Nole and Doug Howard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, twenty-two great nieces and nephews.
