She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Gilpin and Pauline Mills Gilpin; her husband Donald Lee; and her friend Brenda Young Scott. She is survived by: her children, Todd Lee (Kristy) of Rose Hill, VA and Emily Stanley (Devin) of Sierra Vista, AZ; her grandchildren, Dustin Lee, Dylan Lee, Dawson Lee, Bryce Stanley, Sydnee Stanley, Seaton Stanley and Kallen Stanley; her siblings-in-law, Lewey Lee (Brenda), Ruth Lee and Lois Bailey; and her friend Betty Lynn Smith. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinette Funeral Home (207 Deroyal Industries Rd, Rose Hill, VA 24281). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lee Family Cemetery.
