With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis Bert Hensley of Ewing, Virginia, who passed away on July 6, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Finley Hensley and Minnie Hensley (Trent); his in-laws, Arnold and Hazel Nelson (Wilder); his siblings, Charles, Robert, Bufford, Faye, Wilma Jean, Ella Mae (Polly) and Mildred; his nephews, Emanuel, James Bufford Pittman and Scotty Koehler; his niece Miranda Proctor; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Smallman, Julian Lee, Orville, Freeman Nelson, Mark Daniels, JD Collins, JC Pittman, Laola Nelson, Anna Mae, Wanda, Asunta Hensley, Helen Lawson, June Nelson and Elizabeth Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Hensley (Nelson); his children, Linda Robinson (Eric) of Kentucky, Mary Culver (Jim) of North Carolina, David Hensley (Brenda) of Michigan, Jenny Clegg (Tom) of South Carolina and Rick Smallman; his siblings, Conley Hensley, Wallace Hensley, Howard Hensley (Dorothy), Don Hensley (Pauline) and Louise Wilder (Billy Joe); and his grandchildren, Amber Barber (Michael), Robert Culver (Angela), Brian Wildey, Jimmy Hensley, Michael Brunelle (Jenn), Michelle Davis (Richard), Rebecca Culver, Kayla Brunelle, Rick Robinson, Katie Robinson and Brooke Brunelle. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, three step-granddaughters, and eight step-great grandchildren.
