She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart Owens and Alice Owens; and her husband Bob Sumpter. She is survived by: her daughter Lynne; her siblings, Obie Owens, Veda Sumpter, Mary Ellen Bays and Mathis Owens; and her sister-in-law Pam Sumpter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, friends.
