He is survived by: his sister Linda Faye Long of London, KY; his niece Jenny Taylor Seals of Rose Hill, VA.; his mother Phyllis Ann Owens of Ewing, VA.; his siblings, Jeff Owens (Evie) of Corryton, TN., Terrie, Beverly Taylor (Alfred) of Rose Hill, VA. and Shelley Grabeel (Shannon) of Elydale, VA.; his close friend Debra Wires; and his nephews, Kenneth Bowling, Gary Hunley, Chase Smith, Jacob Hunley, Jeffrey Good, Henry Long and Nicholas Long. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
