It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Storms of Ewing, Virginia, born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on May 2, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Bryant and Flossie Ayers Bryant; her children, James Smith, Paul Smith, Shan Hays and Mark Smith; and her siblings, Herbert "Sam" Bryant, Dal Bryant, Buford Bryant, James Bryant, Hubert Bryant, Estil "Junior" Ayers, Clarance Ayers, Daisy Ayers, Bonnie Bryant, Joy Bryant, Billie Ayers, Mary Lou Bryant, Rachell Bryant and Joetta Ayers.
She is survived by: her son Chad Smith (Miranda); her grandchildren, Joshua Jennings (Kelsey), Nicole Hays, Bailey Smith, Emily Smith Miracle and Maddox Chass; her great grandchildren, Vincent Jennings, Lennon Hays and Flossie Jennings; her brothers, Ray "Brownie" Ayers (Sonja) and Jackie "Bill" Bryant; her son-in-law Russell Hays; and her niece Misty Ayers Farmer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
