He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tommy Keesee, Sr. and Madelyn Keesee McGuire; his son John Thomas Keesee; and his siblings, Donald H. Keesee and Gloria Ann Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Moses Keesee; his sons, Joey Thomas Keesee (Amy) of Bedford and Jason Adam Keesee (Heather) of Lynchburg; his siblings, George T. "G. T." McGuire (Edrica) of Penhook and Carolyn Young (Barney) of Danville; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Keesee, Megan Keesee, Bree Noel and Brandon Noel; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Emma Grace, Sophie Rae, Rowan and Amelia; and his niece Scarlett Young. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
