It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Jefferson McGregor of Evington, Virginia, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Paul Jefferson and Beulah Atkins Jefferson; and her siblings, Hubert Jefferson, Perry Jefferson, Jake Jefferson, Lottie Divers, Elizabeth Burgess, Georgie Helmandollar, Rebecca Walker, Charlotte Rigney and Shirley Sutphin.

She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" McGregor; her children, Cindy M. Stewart of Altavista and Mark McGregor (Brenda) of Huntersville, NC; and her grandchildren, Jonathan McGregor, BethAnn Buck (Justin), Cody McGregor and Shane Stewart.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Penuel Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
