With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Lee Aughey of Evington, Virginia, born in Mifflintown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 20, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee Aughey and Betty Hartsock Aughey Houtz. He is survived by: his wife Sally Lewis Aughey; his children, Michael Lee Aughey (Michelle) of York, PA, Keith Samuel Aughey (Judy) of Amherst and Elizabeth Aughey Wilson (Darren Stutzman) of Lynch Station; his stepchildren, Sonny Ashby (Elizabeth) of Evington, Samantha Keesee Jennings (Jeff) of Evington and Curtis Keesee, III (Tiffany) of Hurt; and his sister Jane Aughey Wagner of Mifflintown, PA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
