He is survived by: his stepfather Frank Hawkins, Jr.; his wife Rebecca; his children, Vernessa Harvey (Earl), Melvin Pollard (Vickie), Elder Christopher Pollard (Kristina) and Sharaina Pollard of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Derrick, Christopher (Chantelle), Domico, Vernesha (Alex), Ashley, Dyon (Breanna), Vernita, Da'rel (Briana), Dawayne (Essence), Courtnee, Diamond, Antonnie', Akhill and Avion; his siblings, Sarah Robenson (Vincent) of Chesterfield, Virginia, Frances Hawkins and Frank Hawkins of Madison Heights, Virginia; his aunt Doris Waller of Lynchburg; and his siblings-in-law, Frankie Andrews, Eunice Graves (Laurence), Emma Barbour, Bernadette Christian, Linda Christian, Ralph Carter, Sr. and Rodney Christian.
The lying in state was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cross Road Baptist Church (191 Cross Roads Ln, Evington, VA 24550). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
