She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Wilson and Ellie Pippins Wilson; and her sons, Robert William "Little Bobby" Elkins and Buddy Lee Elkins. She is survived by: her children, Becky Overstreet, Sheila Dawson, Gloria Lee (Hubert), Shirley Boggs, Carson Elkins (Julie) and Douglas Wayne Elkins; and her sister Louise Goff. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1140 W Lynchburg Salem Turnpike, Bedford, VA 24523). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Peaks Presbyterian Church (1686 Kelso Mill Rd, Bedford, VA 24523).
