She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen L. Overstreet and Ollie Bell Overstreet; and her sister Patricia. She is survived by: her daughter Christy L. Goad (Steve Pauley); her siblings, Larry Overstreet (Bonnie), Ellen Heck and Darlene Witt (Bill); her cousins, Leanna Clark and Roberta Little; and her close friends, Margaret, Robert Pentecost, Wanda Vaughan (Jeff) and Judy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions be made to the American Legion Post 16, 1301 Greenview Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
