He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his granddaughters, Tonya Griffin (Rodney) and Katrina Hoadley (Joel); his great grandchildren, Joel and R. J.; his siblings, Margaret Stanley (Jeremy), Phyllis Dumas, Alease Rucker Reese and Dave C. Rucker; his siblings-in-law, Stanley Wier of Barbados and Edna Younger of Madison Heights, VA; and his close friend Eugene "Hot Dog" Pennick. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
