He was predeceased by: his parents, Minor L. Lang and Frances G. Lang; and his daughter Melinda L. Lang. He is survived by: his wife Wanda L. Lang; his stepfather Walter L. Lang; and his children, Milissie L. White, Teresa Zuniga (Dennis), Amanda L. Williams (Jason), Arlene L. Bortzer and Jimmy R. Lang, Jr. (Kimberly). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
