He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Nubie and Jerry Thomas; and his wife Barbara Clark Nubie. He is survived by: his sons, Jesse Nubie Jr. (Jennifer) of Austin and Christopher Nubie (Tonya) of Lynchburg, Virginia.; his granddaughter Juliet Nubie of Austin; his stepgrandchildren, Tre'Zhon Reid and Talib Reid of Lychburg, Virginia.; his siblings-in-law, Vannasa White (Charles) and Garland Clark (Shirley) of Lynchburg, Virginia.; and his extended family Mary Fleshman of Rustburg Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Cross Road Baptist Church (191 Cross Roads Ln, Evington, VA 24550).
