James Dabney Ore Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Dabney Ore Sr. (Evington, Virginia), born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 7, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Irma Parker Ore; his parents, Charles Henry Ore, Sr. and Nellie Jane Johnson Ore; and his siblings, Charles Henry Ore, Jr., Lucy Bailey and Betty Jackson.

He is survived by: his children, Cindi Cole (Tommy) and Terry Ore; his grandchildren, Chris Ore (Shannon, Bryan McAlister), Kyle Cole (Dana, Cody Cole), Faith Dudley (Steve) and Kelli Arrington (David); and his great grandchildren, Christina Burch, Vaughan Ore, Katherine Ore, Olivia Arrington, Justin Arrington and Grayson Cole. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
