He was predeceased by: his father James Alexander Walker, Sr.; his grandparents, Rev. Samuel, Mary Jackson, Mary Hamlett Armistead, Ellen Britton Walker and Sylvester Walker; his aunt Lula Hamlett; his uncle Edward Lewis Hamlett; and his parents-in-law, Charles "Hoover" and Virginia Hall.
He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Jackson Walker of Brookneal; his wife Brenda Hall Walker "My Wife"; his children, Quanisha Walker Taylor (Ronald) of Lynchburg and Jamerson Walker; his grandchildren, Kenzie, KeAndre and KeAvion Taylor; his siblings, Viven Walker-Marable (Dennis) of Bowie, MD, Francine Davis (Kelvin) of Nathalie and Michael Walker; his siblings-in-law, Clara Crawley (Zimbalist Sr.) of Evington, Carroll Hall of Long Island and Larry Hall of Lynchburg; his aunts and uncles, Caroline Morton of Richmond, Linda Knight, Elizabeth "Diane" Hamlett, Peggy Hall of Brookneal, Willie Lloyd Hamlett (Hattie) of Richmond, Carl Hamlett, Jr. and James Lee Hamlett (Debbie) of Brookneal; and his friends, Dan Dixon and Tim White. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
