He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joyce Boley Hall and Ethel Adkins Hall; his former wife Patsy Garrison Hall; and his siblings, Leslie Anderson "Mutt" Hall, Wayne Jackson Hall, Lois Hall Callahan, Louis Haden Hall, Larry Phillip Hall, Glenda Dale Hall and James Joyce Hall.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Williams Hall; his daughter Susan Renee Hall of Evington; his stepson Andrew J. Lucas III of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Cody Robert Johnson (Samantha) of Rustburg, Cadie Delores Garrett (Shane) of Rustburg and Angela Renee Hall of Rustburg; his great grandchildren, Harley Johnson, Aubrey Johnson and Carter Lawhorne; his siblings, Marie Hall Scheurman of Altavista and Charles Gene Hall of Evington; and his pets, Meg and Muffin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
