It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Haden Mitchell Sr. of Evington, Virginia, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Haden Mitchell Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Erna Mitchell; his children, Charles Haden Mitchell Jr., John Allen (Jane Mitchell), Susie Ann (Barney Riddle) and Sarah Mathilde Mitchell (Sheila Gail Allen); and his brother Melvin A. Mitchell Jr.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren.
