She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Andrews Oulds and Stephen "Daddy Rabbit" Oulds; her husband Lewis Avery; her children, Deborah "Debbie" Peterson, Darryl "Pete" Avery and Cecilia Rose; and her granddaughter Sabrina Booker Albert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Booker (late Sherman) and Stacie Rose; her stepson Alphonso Avery (Hattie); her grandchildren, Lewis "Punkin" Foxx, Jr. (Carmela), Melissa "Missy" Goode (Ronald), Sheree Saunders (Timothy) of John, Terence "Terry" Peterson, Courtney Hill (Sean), Alicia Broadus and Barbara Broadus; and her sisters, Cecilia "Cecil" Hull, Luwatha "Lue" Dawkins (John) and Mary "Dee" Calloway. She is also survived by many great grand children, great great grand children, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
