He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Chilton, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Edith Chilton (Johnson); his son Quintus; his wife Shirley; his children, Andre Chilton, Melencia Johnson (Eugene White) and Jerome Johnson (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Sha'Moni, Jullian, Kamryn, Kingston, Yhannis, Travis and Nevaeh; his siblings, Darnell Chilton and Carla Lewis (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Frances Harvey (James), Maxine Farrar (Wesley), Elaine Staten, Ruth Harvey, Marie Dews and Ronnie Harvey (Elaine). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
