She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Roscoe Carrico; her parents, Eugenia Hodges and James C. Womack, Sr.; and her brothers, Ryland Womack, James Womack, Jr., Benny Womack and Malcolm Womack.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Raymond Carrico (Robin) of Chesapeake, Donald Wayne Carrico, Sr. of Evergreen and Shelia McElroy (Vince) of Brookneal; and her grandchildren, Christy Jean Torrence, Kristie Harvey, Dawn Jennings, Donald Carrico, Jr., Daniel Carrico, Clayton McElroy and Jonathon McElroy. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

She loved flowers and took pride in her yard until Alzheimer's forced her to leave home.
