He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Donnelly and Mary Agnes Donnelly (Jacob). He is survived by: his wife Sarah Donnelly (Forsyth); his children, Katharine Adams (Reginald), Mary Winkley (John), Thomas Forsyth Donnelly and Clancy Donnelly (Aretha); and his sister Doris Levy (Jonathan). He is also survived by four grandchildren.
