She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen R. Spencer and Frances Spencer (Freeman). She is survived by: her husband Robert Maupin; her grandchildren, Blake Franklin Tracy, Nevaeh Anne Tracy, Robert Samuel Siler and Charlotte "Charli" Rose Siler; her brothers, Robert Spencer (Ginger), Jessie Spencer (Becky) and Neil Spencer; her mother-in-law Daisy Maupin; her brother-in-law Cecil Maupin (Patty); her sister Lorrie Sipe (Mike); and also, Carter, Allie and Justin Maupin. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont to show gratitude for their compassionate care during Penny's final months.
