She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Sandridge and Gladys Sandridge; her brothers, William "Billy" Sandridge and Guy Sandridge Jr.; her husband Vernon Brown; and her granddaughters, Lanessa Marie Brown and Katrina Lynn Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Rae Brown (Linda Brown) of Palmyra, VA, Samuel Brown and Deborah Meraz-Montoya; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown and Kyle Brown; and her great grandchildren, Latrina Brown, Aaliyah Bright, Joseph Bright and Trequan Brown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a lot of friends of her grandchildren.
