It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Houchens of Esmont, Virginia, who passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Morris and Mandy Morris; her husband Freddy Houchens; and her brothers, Earl Morris, Ollie Morris and James Morris.
She is survived by: her son Darrell Lee Houchens; and her sisters, Betty Pritchett and Lucille Frazier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
