Alfonso Rush Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfonso Rush (Esmont, Virginia), who passed away on May 7, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso L. Rush Jr. and Virginia Barrett Rush; and his brother Albert D. Rush. He is survived by: his sons, Alfonso L. "Lonnie" Rush III of Charlottesville, Alan L., Mark A. Rush of Esmont and Derek A. Rush of Richmond; his siblings, Elsie Taylor (Ralph), Sheila Rush of Charlottesville, Lynne Rush of Burke, Virginia and Jerome Rush (Eden) of Esmont; his aunts and uncles, Leon Barrett (Charlotte) of Baltimore, MD, Eric Starks of Esmont, Bell Rush of Esmont and Mary Rush; and his granddaughters, Natasha, Queneesha, Chloe, Marktika, Nakaia, Cheyenne, Nacheyla, Nahshae, Maleiah, Semaj and Nevaeh. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
