It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Warren Lucas Tomlinson of Emporia, Virginia, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren L. Tomlinson, Sr. and Buelah Lynch Tomlinson. He is survived by: his siblings, David Marlow Tomlinson and Roberta Diane "Ann" Temple; his nephew David Warren Temple; his wife Louise Simmons Tomlinson; his children, Stephanie Tomlinson Owens (John) and Owen L. Tomlinson (Hilary); his grandsons, J. Lucas Owens, Reid Owens, Colton Owens and Cameron Tomlinson; and his niece Michelle Temple Servey (Terry).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Word of Life Assembly of God Church, 707 Brunswick Ave, Emporia, Virginia 23847 or to Main St. Baptist Church 440 S. Main St. Emporia, Virginia 23847.
