She is survived by: her son Shawn Powell (Veronica); her grandchildren, Aushaun and Kamea Powell; her siblings, Phillis Powell, Rochester Powell and Luther Junius Powell; her aunts, Catherine Claiborne and Willie Bea Rawlings; her uncle William Lee; her great-nephew Jerry Brown, Jr.; her great-niece Jada Brown; her cousin Odella Thomas; and also Alaya Michael. She is also survived by cousins, relatives, friends.
