She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Lillian Merricks; her husband Charles Albert "Buddy" Sabo, Jr.; her siblings, Juanita Carole Elmore and Roger Alan Merricks; her children, Victoria S. Wells (Chris), Susan S. Byrum (Kevin), Charles Albert and Chuck Sabo, III (Leslie); her grandchildren, Daniel Charles Byrum (Necia), Emalyn Lou Sabo and Brittany Byrum; her sister Wanda Edwards (Darwin); and her siblings-in-law, Lester Elmore and Valerie Merricks. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John the Baptist Lutheran Church, 1351 West Atlantic St Emporia, Virginia 23847.
