She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Crutchfield and Nellie Kinchen; her spouse Russell Drake Sr.; her brother Thomas Crutchfield; her son Dennis Richardson; and her stepchildren, Bobby Richardson, Russell Drake Jr., Carolyn Patterson, Gloria Davis, Bernice Ogden and Jean Ann Gordon.
She is survived by: her children, Otis William Crutchfield, Vester Richardson Jr. (Linda) of Emporia, VA, Ann Johnson of Richmond, VA, Karin Turner, Hilda Blanks, Beverly Hill of Emporia, VA and Connie Drake of Phoenix, Arizona.; and her siblings, Carolyn Richardson of Emporia, VA, Alice Burns of Hampton, VA, Hazel Crutchfield of Brooklyn, NY and Arther Crutchfield of Brooklyn, NY. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
